Power/doom metal, as it was introduced in the '90s by legacies such as Candlemass, Veni Domine, Abstrakt Algebra, Memory Garden etc., is making a critical comeback this year, and Darkness, Then Light is nothing short of a worthy commemoration of that sound. What sets apart In Aevum Agere's fourth album in particular, is its awesome association with extreme metal, in terms of rhythm guitars, technical rhythm section and their respective sound production.
