From the catchy ear worm that is severed, to the drastically heartfelt brutalness of Murder8.
Tasteful groovy breakdowns made to absolutely decimate speakers with chugs and snares, Vile
Conduct feels like a culmination of multiple years of work from a band that never has lost their
core sound and has only evolved for the better. Will Putney's addition to this album really
elevates the tone and feel of the albums production. From the small pinches on Severed or the
drum fill on Murder8, Putney's flare throughout the entirety of the album really marks a stamp of
approval and impressiveness that a band like Body snatcher can exhibit and puts them on a
different level compared to other beatdown deathcore outfits. I especially think that the
inspiration from Float Face Down can be found on this album, the bands guitarists previous band
that a lot of other bands cite inspiration from. The drum mix specifically sets this EP apart
from other deathcore releases, primarily due to studio playing. Medina sounds like a monster
throughout all of
the tracks and the drummers backing vocals and personal inputs really evolve and elevate the
overall sound, making this a far above average release for the Melbourne FL Based deathcore
group.
