Genuinely incredible. 'Blue' is perhaps the best song they wrote outside of Scum, a shifting, gorgeous midnight odyssey somewhere between the trip-hop of Everything But The Girl, the urban musings of Pet Shop Boys, and the more urgent post-rock of Long Fin Killie. Hex predicts the ambient black metal of Velvet Caccoon spectacularly before collapsing into an eerie and well-earned ambient section. The Big Shot remix is excellent too, splicing Bark Psychosis with techno to entrancing effect. The average rating here baffles me. This is incredible stuff, Bark Psychosis at their most inventive.
