"Love Changes Everything" does not have the range of sounds to rank among the Dirty Three's
best works (inside the first two tracks, we have heard the trio's full repertoire for the
album). However, the band are nothing if not dependable and almost everything here is an
enjoyably disjointed listen. Mood-boarding for the Sunday scaries, if you will.

Warren Ellis and the gang are back after some 12 odd years with their most shapeless, difficult to pin down release yet. Not so much a statement of grand return, as it is an exercise in ill-fittingness with a lot of legroom for ambiance that swlalows every instrument and each progression.
