| 3.3 great | Erwann S. EMERITUS | August 25th 24 | Cook's first solo release after dismantling PC Music still kinda walks on the same paths as its preceding material on the first and third disc. Where Britpop surprises is on its second disc: here, serene indietronica melanges electronics with nods to indie rock for a result that's surprisingly sweet. Of course, it's still long lol (24 tracks for 100 minutes).

| 2.5 average | didnt ask to be staff, was made staff anyway, then got demoted for not doing staff stuff | June 27th 24 | If you look at A.G. Cook's full-length release work not as cohesive albums but as sampler showcases of what he is capable of, then it starts gaining a different light entirely. These are all capably made songs with a level of futuristic quirk only Cook can muster, yet at one and a half hours (again) it is more like a playlist of his production efforts, as the songs are substantively indistinguishable a lot of the time, even if the three sections are based around different vibes and stylistic direction.
