| 0.0 | bloc | February 20th 10 | Here we have metalcore with an electronic edge. This means you get a simple metalcore band plus power pop synths. The final product definitely isn't something to write home to because of the downfalls that come with such a concoction. These being autotune plus lack of aggression. The former speaks for itself (heavy use in the choruses in various songs) but the latter is a bit more complicated. When it comes to metalcore, the idea is usually to be as aggressive as possible, and the band actually accomplishes this. However, once the synths start kicking in, you hear cheesy poppy lines that could easily be manned up if the patch was changed. Another turnoff is the awful production; very low quality makes the album sound like it came from a basement band.
