Review Summary: strolling empty parking lots at night

So, here I am in 2022, and an album is released titled ''I Paint You, I Paint You, I Paint You,'' which captivates my world. It shifts my day-to-day genre to this sound, and I'm trying to find more music that captures the same vibe. It is perfect to me and will probably remain so for a long time.

Hi, it's 2024 now, and it feels like I discovered 'I Paint You x3' just a few weeks ago. But it's new album time, and this one is a collaboration between Gustavo Nome and Clementine Teare (Goth Lipstick), released as band and independent.

Sixteen minutes is all it takes for me to be captivated once again. Beautiful emotional lyrics and diverse soundscapes are scattered throughout, with cathartic and haunting screams/screeches carefully placed in each song, building up to an amazing closer song filled with relief. The catchy strumming on 'Leaves' and 'Cicadas' keeps inviting me back to listen again and again.

''i will be pretty when i die'' left me with an emotional impact unlike anything else does, a short journey perfect for a midnight stroll.
