Although my opinion on the first album has remained largely unchanged, for some inexplicable reason A Beacon School's follow-up in 'yoyo' managed to strike all the chords the predecessor could not. The perky haziness of the genteel pop here was wrapped in just memorable enough a song-writing to resonate with me. Not every song is a hit, of course, as many times the album throws back to the weak and bland non-descriptness of the first album. But for the most part, yeah, dis be solid.
