A bit of a departure from their last EP but I think better for it. There?s quite a lot going on so it?s a bit harder to pigeonhole than their previous effort. Certainly a strong post-hardcore vibe but with a heftier production than what the genre usually presents. Lots of different rhythms and grooves which are outside of the wheelhouse of their supposed genre. Lovely soft vocals which surge to harsh screams. Different vocalist on backing on this album too. Honeyguide II is one of my favourite tracks of the year. Quite proggy at times without the pretence or wankery. A very nice effort from a band clearly still finding their feet.

Great new band trying something different, some Death Cab in there and some Pianos become the teeth. Interesting stuff
