Much much better on the second listen imo, which
isn't unusual for Primordial
@shartharder it's just the ultra politicisation
of everything by people online these days, The
only thing that is remotely right wing about this
band was Alan's opposition to lockdown, but he
opposed it primarily because of how it affected
the music industry, he was not some weird
conspiracy theorist, he was never anti vax or any
of that stuff. If anything he was one of the few
who took both sides of that argument seriously.
I know for a fact he voted for
gay marriage and abortion rights in Ireland and
people on the right labelled him as a "woke
leftie". If you piss off the loudest voices on
the right and the loudest voices on the left
you're probably just an average dude
with average views, but extreme voices trying to
discredit anyone who disagrees in the slightest
are always the loudest online unfortunately.
The internet is just full of knee jerk over-
reactions where people purposely ignore context
and get a kick out of being outraged, labelling
people as terrible things from behind anonymous
usernames because they'd never use these words in
a face to face discussion

I almost forgot some Sputnikmusic people are here
to engage in witch-hunting scores instead of judging
the music itself. Always a good laugh to see the
new inquisitors pointing fingers. Or maybe it's
just trolling nowadays, which is a good laugh too.
Win win situation if laugh is always the result.
@Medicinelover I don't think being opposed to lockdowns is a "left" or "right wing" stance.
That false dichotomy is very obsolete and very narrow to understand the current problems we
face. Actually you pointed out that Alan, for example, voted for gay marriage and abortion
rights, which would be considered a "left wing" stance, yet everything is way more complex
than that. I'm very critical of vaccines for example and just stating that would make me an
anti-vaxxer, far-right, conspiracy theorist in many places in the world right now. People
decide in less than a second what a person supposedly is based on a different/dissonant
opinion. Tags
like "fash", "leftie", "commie", "conspiracy theorist" are 99% of time used as absurd
reductions for ideas that are complex in nature when studied carefully. Hopefully we may
engage in good-spirited discussion at some point because you strike me as a fella who can do
that, but only if you are willing of course. Peace.

This record is...alright. Sounds good (mix is very pleasant!), and worked well as background music, but it didn't really catch my attention.
