| 2.5 average | FadingEmbers | August 2nd 23 | Very standard death metal for the most part. The production is exactly what you'd expect from a modern death metal band. However, two of the eleven tracks feature clean vocals from Flora Farzaneh which are mesmerizing when paired with the intense instrumentation. The highlight of the album for me was the final minute or so of the last track where choir like vocalization chimes over the deep chugging guitars. I wish they would have explored more of this idea throughout the rest of the runtime.
