| 4.0 excellent | Hot Chocolate CONTRIBUTOR | May 22nd 23 | unless Johnny Booth gets off their collective asses I really don't see another -core release matching the energy of this bad boy this year.

| 4.0 excellent | EarthboundHellion37 | November 26th 24 | This album has NOT gotten enough love this year, but it hits so satisfyingly hard. Looking forward to what these guys create next.

| 2.5 average | ajcollins15 | August 10th 23 | When Frontierer dropped their 2021 record it brought a whole new meaning to glitchy mathcore, by actually using glitch-style edits in the music. It was a refreshing take on the somewhat stale style of mathcore that DEP created decades ago. Soulkeeper?s debut album is a decent start to hopefully a great career. There are a lot of interesting and intense ideas presented here. Plus it?s tied together in a short little package. However, nothing here feels all that original and the band needs to find their own footing, which I think they can do if they take the ideas on the opening track ?Holy Design?.

| 4.0 excellent | Mser94 | June 24th 23 | Great debut with this project. Gonna have
stiff year-end competition for AOTY in heavy
music from Pupil Slicer, Burner, Zulu, Johnny
Booth and Chamber... but this is fantastic.
Loved the nods to Aphex Twin/Sweet Trip with
some of those ambient glitchy breakbeats
