"In The Beginning" is a great compilation album of Tangerine Dream. It represents the beginning
of the career of the band with the albums recorded when Tangerine Dream was linked to their first
record label the Ohr. It comprises the four albums that were released in the 70?s plus "Green
Desert" that was only released in the 80's. So, despite be great, this is also an important
compilation that document the first steps of the band before Tangerine Dream have signed with the
Virgin record label, the time of their golden era, the time of their greatest masterpieces,
"Phaedra", "Rubycon", "Ricochet" and "Stratosfear".
