3.9 excellent | Erwann S. STAFF | May 26th 23 | Ain't nothing revolutionary, but this latest record sees Incendiary nail their formula of tough and pissed-off NYHC. Breakdowns are more neck-breaking than ever, shouty punchlines are even more leftist-anthemic ("Every window deserves a brick" lmfao yes boiz), and riffs do not hesitate to be even more pummeling while still retaining melodic qualities - "Host/Parasite" being the prime example of transitioning stupidly heavy verse riff into post-hxc chorus riff. Also it's very, very New York.

3.5 great | PTRKoulou | February 28th 24 | At its pure core, this is a pretty good album. Whether or not it goes beyond that will depend on the type of listener. The overall production of Change The Wait You Think About Pain is crushing, better than Thousand Mile Stare, may I add, and the merciless songwriting you'd come to expect is there, ready for killer pits. They're actually a bit more metal this time around, delivering almost thrash-adjacent riffs in some occasions.rAs far as this detached home experience goes though, I'll have to say it leaves me so and so. As much as Incendiary are trying to break away from their formula, the abrupt rhythm changes through which they try to achieve that kind of ruin what groove the songs have and it can't pass as an attempt for a more spaz mathy style. On top of that, the lyrics can be a hit or miss, but that's nothing unexpected, they can be pretty tongue in cheek.rOverall enjoyable, but idk if I'll be returning to this anytime soon

5.0 classic | TheDangerman | June 3rd 23 | This band is a great combination of
metalcore and hardcore, this album swings
more to the side of metalcore. Even though
hardcore is usually better this is the best
album of the year and the best album by
Incendiary so far, they have perfected
their sound here.

4.0 excellent | NarlusKing123 | May 30th 23 | Album rips. Does it change the genre and completely revitalize it? No. It's a hardcore record through and through, but the songwriting is strong and the riffage is constantly gnarly. I recommend listening to Echo of Nothing into Host/Parasite to see Incendiary at their best. Anything new from Incendiary is an event, and this is no different. Every window deserves a brick!
