Adytum shows way too much Opeth influence on this album; it gets to the point where it becomes almost a copycat at times. Hopefully this band's sophomore album will utilize their potential much more effectively.

Alltogether an amazing album.
Deep in the veins of the likes of Opeth, Immortal, (old) Dimmu Borgir, mixed with something of a younger feel (mainly in the vocals), some possible Porcupine Tree influence, with some rather out-of-nowhere shred solos that are actually quite impressive.
Recording quality is done in the emulation of the 1st and 2nd Generation Black Metal bands, having that crisp, treble-dominated sound with the signature "Lo-Fi" quality they are known for. But on the alternative side (and quite suprisingly) the Bass Guitar is turned up enough to where if you listen through Head-Phones or Ear-Buds you can hear it quite clearly.
They are currently writing new material and I personally am looking forward to what it is going to sound like; Hopefully something more worthy of what they are obviously capable of accomplishing.
