Chicharra is a self described "Insect Glam Metal" band from Albuquerque, the type of eccentric band that makes super psychedelic music and makes up their own genre that only they would possibly know what it even means. The band's style is all over the place, despite only having three bass guitars and a drum kit to work with. Sometimes it's a more subdued drone work with a choir of the three girls singing, sometimes it's bombastic and punk with the girls chattering away like the insects they worship. It's worth a listen.
