I am sad to report that the mystique and the gloom so beautifully painting the preceding EP failed to effectively translate to a full album experience. All the signs are there, but they are often bogged down by their own similarity and creative cornering. It seems like the album is overly interested in honing in one particular atmospheric idea, despite the song-writing and the flow so clearly suffering from it.
