4.0 excellent | defmeddle | June 23rd 22 | Can't help but love this album, it's just so fun. Modern alt rock mixed with 2000s era nu metal and a touch of pop make for a memorable and catchy listen. The riffs have just enough bite to headbang to, although yeah, I'd love it if they turned it all up to 11 and went for some crunching metal breakdowns and harsh vocals. For anyone reading this also- they're great live, see em if you get the chance.

3.5 great | Ecnalzen | June 19th 22 | A surprisingly good effort of genre mixing, but the hard rockish stuff sometimes doesn't vibe as well as the rest. The ladies do well with clean singing/rapping parts, yet the heavier sections could have used a more aggressive vocal approach, but instead we mostly get supplemented with gang vocals that just don't hit as hard as the music is going for.
A Dark Place for Somewhere Beautiful is a def highlight, and I could have gone for some more like that, but Supernova is still an enjoyable effort all in all.

4.0 excellent | ajcollins15 | June 23rd 22 | Amy Love and Georgia South are some of the small groups really pushing for a 2000s-style sound. From Rina Sawayma and Clarence Clarity doing the pop side of things and then Nova Twins bringing back that heavy and heady nu metal and rap metal style that blew up in the mid to late 90s but powered through the 2000s. For me, this is heady and explosive hip hop, RnB, metal, industrial, and rock music. There really is an eclectic mix of styles and ideas all throughout the album and I am 100% here for it.
