4.5 superb | Gert45 | November 12th 21 | The strongest Beach House release since Bloom in my opinion. The same bones and structure
we all expect, but the inclusion of a live orchestra and a new twist on some of the
electronic sounds bring a much needed evolution to their sound, preventing it from
getting too stale. rIf the rest of the series is this good, we're in for a classic Beach
House record. My biggest complaint - I'm not a fan of the 4 part release. I want to
listen to the album in it's entirety without having spent too much time with part of it
already - a big reason why I typically choose to skip singles.
Edit: I intended this for the part 1 EP, but I guess I'll just leave it here and edit if
my thoughts change after hearing more. Part 2 was pretty good too.

4.0 excellent | MetalMarcJK | November 11th 21 | So far, so good! Chapter 1 is a strong start to this 18-track album. “Once Twice Melody” is a modal, cinematic,
moody trip into a young woman’s daydreams, and I cannot get enough of this song!
