I think this is the gateway opening and spilling into a new universe of Heavy Pop. Since the death of Issues, I don't think any other band has been able to pick up and pass off the torch nearly as well. The following album dips a little bit more into the pop, and the previous one dips a little bit more into the punk/rock sound, this one is the perfect middle ground of something fresh and new, which I think will age tremendously. The ear worm that is so many tracks on here, destines to be one of the first bands i think of, when attempting to recommend new music to someone that may have ANY interest in guitar-based pop music.
