Stupidly killer barrage of death metal goodness
straight outta the UK! High quality recording also.
The mix here is pretty perfect and packs a nice,
bassy wallop with every note. The momentum here is
insane and the guitar tone is so damn good. Front to
back riff buffet! Really cool writing all around
when it comes to all of the instrumentation and man
the transitions are superb. Another band that sadly
never made it beyond the demo stages and when I go
on these demo binges it's always depressing when I
find ones like this because it makes you realize how
many absolutely classic albums never even got around
to being made in this era. I'd say this one is
essential listening. Arguably one of the greatest
pieces of death metal to ever come out of the UK
honestly. Opening notes on "Disemboweled" hit like a
haymaker to the face and these are the kinds of
moments that keep death metal so damn fresh to my
ears. Love it! M///
Fun fact: the bassist here also played on
Gorerotted's awesome debut album, which I also
highly recommend for fans of the genre. Another
pretty underrated band whose early material slays
for days!
