4.0 excellent | y87arrow | November 16th 18 | This album did grow on me years after release. Now I understand it much better. Welcome To Goodbye
is untouchable and still one of the best futurepop albums of all time but I like how they
experiment on 1023. There's an acoustic guitar, trip-hop and ambient influences, the songs are
often slower but I like how they unfold. Songs like I Am With You have nice song structures, after
the 2nd chorus the song takes off and never returns, I love that kind of creativity.

3.0 good | Acanthus | November 8th 11 | I'm not sure what Rotersand are doing, Welcome To Goodbye was a superb album, it was focused. The later releases all seem scattered and filled with too many ides that have yet to come to fruition, as well as some varying styles of vocal delivery that I doubt the band would want to put on their resume. The album is worth a listen because it is [u]strange[/i] and has far more in common with the albums after it than those before.
