This album is an AMAZING story of music, with no filler. This crazy experimental hard rock band from Chapel Hill, NC, which orignally fled here from Venus. They spread their space gospel through kick ass rock and roll, and leaving thousands left in front of the stage still pumping their fists, or at home trying to learn Eidann's lead parts. They recently appeared on the warped tour and the strung out tour and are currently signed to Volcom Entertainment. You may have seen ads for electric snow goggles with their lead singer Valient Himself. Now onto the album.

This album simply made this band my favorite. If I could define this album in two words, they would be MIND-BLOWING. They have trippy effects, amazing guitar lines and ridiculous rythems and drum breaks. Many songs are catchy yet amazing. The song "Showdown" amazes me. The song is written about government, and it talks about all of these sins and lies, but also have a ridiculous music that makes you want to jump up and down and break something. Songs like "Palm Reader", "Man Behind the Curtain", "Hijackers". Awwww hell, all of these songs are kickass Venusian hard rock hymns. This band has 3 intermissions that are basically preludes to hard ***ing rock and roll. The lead singer, Valient Himself, used to be the foods teacher at my school, and it was so fun. These theories, conspiracies, and hidden messages will kick your ass so bad it'll turn blue. My advice: buy this album. This band is so amazing. It will blow your face off.Kurt

As soon as you get the album picture and track listing up this is going to be much better. Good job though, although it's a little short.

Not too bad, kinda short, and you need to put up the track listings or we don't know
what 'amazing' songs your talking about. And I've heard these guys before. They
were okay, but I don't think a 5 is very deserving.

Okay, you got the picture and tracks down, but you closed all the paragraphs into
one long one. ^^;This Message Edited On 11.15.05

I think this review was good but pretty biased at the same time.

It's slightly biased, but it's still a solid review.

I think that Fretshredder12 was trying to write a review with paragraphs instead of doing a track-by-track because of the advice in his first review. If you wrote a track-by-track and then put it all in paragraphs and then edited it a little then you could have a good review.

I saw this band open for Strung Out fairly recently and I thought they were very good for an opener band, but I wouldn't rate the music I heard 5/5 based on that live performance.

I also think this review isn't in depth enough. But I'm not going to neg it.

I was at warped (patiently waiting to see MCS, best band ever imo) and saw a couple minutes of these guys, I thought they were extremely mediocre, but during the song they interacted with the crowd alot and gave off alot of energy, so i commend them for that. Pretty good review, but next time be more specific about songs that wre good and what-not

I actually JUST got back from Warped Tour here in Orlando...let me tell you, this band is PHENOMINAL live. The energy is insane and they are straight up in your face rock n' roll. Like...AC/DC on crack.
