Music-wise, this sounds fucking superb. A little lacking in hooks, but I hear enough to keep me happy. Lyrically and conceptually? Very brave, and truthful. Don't be afraid of politics. Politics govern every aspect of modern life, it's good to voice an opinion of that. The cover will make this album a hot seller from Yemen to Pakistan ;)

Why do civil rights and not fucking killing human beings always equal politics? I swear, that shitty take makes me sick. As for the album itself, it is a beautiful and triumphant statement on being true to yourself. It is bold, it is smart, and it is transcendent as fuck. Fantastic in every sense of the word.

This is definitely a post-metal album. Personally this really bores me, and perhaps the "hype" didn't help me enjoying this, since I've seen this cover pretty much everywhere. Ye-ye, brave and whatnot, but sadly this is just another post-metal album which is could be a good only as background noise.
