Absolutely some awesome moments in this but the sheer volume of bloat - and disruptive bloat at that - makes this overall just a little bit too hard to love. A shame, really.

i find his clean vocals just excruciating and twice as loud as they should be. they ruin every track here.

Similar in a lot of ways to the rest of his discog (long ass bm songs) but there?s a definite move towards expanding his traditional proggy bm sound

I wouldn't say it sucks, but it lacks the power, drama and beauty of Biolume Part I and Shards of Silver. His melodic singing here is nice, but meh... I actually like those two preceding synth-based "ambient" albums a little more.
