The 16 new tracks on this deluxe edition should be it's own entity on a separate album. These
tracks are the best thing Eminem has done in a long time and far superior to the now dubbed Side A
of this album released at the start of 2020. Good beats, hooks and choruses allow Eminem to
compliment them with better rhymes and flows.

Right, so now that I've listened to this album a few times and am not going off of my
initial reaction: This is Eminem's funnest album since The Eminem Show. The only track
that's weak here is Killer, and that's not even a bad track, it's just a collab with Tyga
that came out a little bland. There is not one atrocious hook, surprisingly enough. There
is plenty of immaturity here, just as sure as the sun is hot... but there's actually a
lot of honesty here as well, more than I expected. He still touches on his critics a
little bit, but he includes a healthy dose of self-reflection this time, making it much
more relatable than any previous attempt. There are easily more good bars than bad here,
with the strongest quality ratio since he went sober; People who feel the need to nitpick
specific lines as an indicator of overall quality are legitimately just people who want
Eminem to be somebody he's not. It's worth noting that the handful of bad bars buried in
the well-done flows actually lean more towards stupid/funny instead of the cringe-y dad
jokes of Revival. If you at one point liked Eminem, and don't accompany your nostalgia
with amnesia, then this is actually pretty close to the quality of his heyday. If you can
go into this without any major expectations, you will be pleasantly surprised. This
should've been Side A.

Tone deaf indeed. "Alfred's Theme", "Book of Rhymes" and "Gnat" are worth a listen
but the
rest is just generic Eminem album #1112. And that is neither a condemnation nor
recommendation, You should know what to expect by now at this point in Em's career.
A few slivers of quality stuff, some crossover pop shit for the radio, some features
that sporadically outshine Em, and a metric fuck ton of angry resentment at the
critics. The world's most insecure emcee is back at it again.

Good album, but eminem NEEDS to stick to a concept throughout an album, i think if he did that he could easily get back to his top three albums

This is actually better than side A. If you combine the gems of side A with side B you
have a perfect album, it's pretty crazy. Very strong year for Eminem. I know it's a meme
to hate on Em at this point, but at some point you have to yield and call a good album
when you see one.

It's trademark Eminem as Eminem does. The cringe bars outweigh the handful of clever ones, production is good/occasionally great and it all remains perfectly digestible to 15 year olds. No surprises here.
