This gets heavier by each track. An absolute oddity in the whole discography, which is not even metal most of the time. The album opener "Offerschaal der astrologische mengvormen" is one of sneaky grower, a weird and enchanting synth+drum... thing (song) which "mimicks" a slow and cheesy orchestral piece. I don't know why, but I truly love the eerie, mystical and twisted nature of this thing. It's some sort of dark magic, or I don't know...! One thing is for sure, the previously mentioned first track is a 5/5 masterpiece... the rest remains a challenge, even for me.
