The Trout Mask Replica of Francophone rap? Quebec OG Roi Heenok displays an occult take on gangsta rap with minimalistic Memphis-influenced beats carrying his off-beat "rapological technique" (he's really more a gangsta than a rapper). VERY interesting experience but I can't say it's actually a good album.
