It's an injection of pure serotonin. It grooves hard, and all the soaring riffs don't get old. It's nothing new for the genre of instrumental prog metal, but it's executed brilliantly and doesn't overstay its welcome. Vantablack and D.O.S.E. are the first-impression highlights.

This album is great and definitely an improvement from "The Way Forward", which means the title of the last album was not lying to us. This album is packed full of great riffs and incredibly killer guitar solos. Aaron Marshall may be in the top echelon of guitarists in the genre that has some of the most rigorous guitarists.

IMO I think this his most consistent project. I adore Shape of Colour but this has a bit more cohesion.

Shit, this came out 4 years ago, where has the time gone.. Anyways, this album has only grown on me more throughout the years. It's very much Intervals as per usual, but the quality is still there. Riffs as infectious, and bright as ever, all members firing on all cylinders.

It ain't totally amazing all the way through but there are just too many awesome moments on this record to not give it a 4. I am having such a gosh darn good time with it.

Just had one or two listens now but definitely doesn't grab you like the last 2 albums. Hopefully it grows but as of now... the new Cloudkicker blows this away.
