Yes it IS muddy, not as abysmal as the previous one but still far from adequate. The album itself is a slight improvement, some very good guitar work here.

production isn't muddy at all. last record sounded great too provided you have a good source. it just isn't loudness war mastered. turn it up and it sounds fantastic. sounds great, is great.
