I find this to be a step up from their debut, both instrumentally and production-wise. Vocals are spot on just like they were before. The sameness so often seen in this genre is also present here but the band manage to take well-worn cliches and make them effective with their emotional delivery. Long time since an album like this made me genuinely feel something.

This had so much potential; the vocals and songwriting and wonderful, but the album is held back by its bland, generic instrumentals and the overwhelming feeling of sameness from song to song that results from it.
