3.5 great | Gary STAFF | April 26th 22 | Fun, but far less energic than the previous LP. Still worths to give this a few spins, because the guitarwork is excellent (=tons of tasty riffs).

3.7 great | manosg EMERITUS | December 14th 20 | Less immediate than The Armor of Ire, but still a great album of barbaric epic metal. The production is better here but I guess that the more midtempo material can put off some listeners. Other than that, its duration, along with the fact that "War at the Edge of the End" is an older track, is somewhat concerning, especially because it took them four years since their debut to release this one.

3.5 great | aaronrkc | November 26th 20 | Band pulls out all the cool production effects (to great effect) without drawing energy from the compositions, though they aren't quite as powerful as those on the debut.
