Jenna Mammina is a Jazz artist with a great vocal range and amazing vocal control. This album is one of my favorite by Jenna Mammina. I have seen her in concert several times, and Meant to Be truly captures how Janna sounds live. Jenna's version of 'Running to Stand Still' sends tingles up my spine. Her version of 'Hope That I Don't Fall in Love With You' moves my soul to sadness, while her 'Dirty Work' brings a wide smile to my face. Her eclectic choice of covers in this album is to be commended. This album has recently been remastered and re-released in 16bit (CD) and high resolutions by Blue Coast.
