A few standout tracks, but inconsistency holds it back from making it truly great (similar to previous records). Another user pointed out the singing sounding different here - he now sounds almost identical to Elliott Smith at times, for better or worse. For what it's worth, I think "Vegetable" is my most played song of 2020 and "Seeing Eye Dog" is an excellent closer.

The album features good writing and arrangements, but what is bothering me are the vocals. The
singing sounds different than on previous projects, somehow more forced. Still, not a bad listen.
