Criminally underrated. With this album, they focus more on melody and shift away from the nonstop brutality. This is a very good album, I highly recommend it

A spitting image of early 90's Fear Factory with a more defined nu-metal sound, and without
the clean vocals breaking the ice. At least the songs aren't very long, and that saves the
album from being boring. Good effort, definitely worth a listen every now and again. Birth
in Regress is a track I recommend highly.

Overlooked in which way? Boring, tedious vocals, some decent guitar work, poor death effort, ye this one is underatted as hell

More of a 3.7 to be honest. What a step up from Diatribes. Barney sounds awesome here and the record is more varied and has way more faster elements. It definitely drags a little bit with it's 14 song 45 minute run time. I'm not sure I understand all the low ratings or why people say this is a "nu metal" album. It's nowhere near as bad as Roots or Fear Factory.
