This is a fairly new rock band from ontario who has a very good rock sound to their music. They have good guitars, good drums and good singing.

#1- Fire up ahead. This song is an ok first song to this album. The song may get annoying from the same sort of annoying chorus but after the first chorus there is a very cool solo. I rate this song 3.5/5

#2- Makin' Sunshine. This song is a very good new song that the trews have come up with. It has a good guitar and the drum beat is pretty solid. This song has probably the song where the bass is the best. The bass is my favourite thing to listen to in the song. Rating- 3/5

#3- Cry. This song has a very cool sounding guitar riff throught most of the song. The riffs do chane in the song but they are still very cool. This is a very good song to listen to when you are doing a sport like riding a bike. Very good vibe to it. Near the end their is an awsome solo and they add in some trumpets in the background. 3.5/5

#4- Sweetness. Not one of my favourite songs. The guitar kind of sounds like the guitarist is mad or something. But the drums and bass do go with it. Good song but not one of my favourite songs. Rating- 2.5/5

#5- I Cant Say- This song is a very good slow song to listen to. It has piano in it and it is played very well and sounds great. The way he sings the song reallys goes well with the instruments. It is a very nice slow song. Rating- 4/5

#6- So Shes Leaving- Very good livley song. Cool guitar riff at the beginning. Good solid drum beat throughout the song and the singing is very good. A very very good not boirng song to listen to. Nice strong vibe to it and some parts are quite heavy especially the solo which sounds amazing. Probably one of the best songs on this cd. Rating-4.5/5

#7- Yearning- Now this song is great. I love the guitar riff at the beginning and just the way that the song sounds is just great. Should be at least a top 50 song. LUV IT. Rating- 5/5

#8- The Pearl (More Than Everthing). This is a very good and fast song. The guitar riff at the beginning could be different but i wont complain. I like this song but not my favourite. Rating- 3/5

#9- Poor Ol' Broken Hearted Me. This is also one of my most favourite songs. Great strong guitar riff which sounds great. Awsome drumming. Cool cowbell on the drums. The chorus is nice and smooth. And especially the solo which the guitaist used a very cool effect and it sounds amazing. One of their best songs yet. Rating-5/5

#10- Ana&Mia. This song is somewhat a blues song. Cool blues riff at the beginning which is a change. Not what i have expected from the trews but still and ok song. Rating- 2.5/5

#11- Naked. Funny name for a song. Weird guitar riff at the beginning. The singing is probably the best in this song. Good job by the singer. Rating- 3/5

#12- Montebello Park. This is an easy listening type of song. I like listening to this song on the road. After the intro it starts to pick up and get faster and more alive. Good song for the road. Rating- 3.5/5

#13- Got Myself to Blame. Starts off with a cool drum beat and stays like that throughout the song. Interesting guitar riff and cool Bass. Rating- 2.5/5

#14- Traveling Kind. This is a very oldies type of song. Sounds like a song that you would hear on the oldies radio. Very cool and interesting song. I really enjoyed it when i first heard it. Rating- 4/5

#15- Ishmael & Maggie. The last song on the album. Has a cool oldie piano at the beginning snd the song is very solid and smooth throughout. Very good closing song. Rating- 3.5/5

So if you like the trews you should pick up this album.

This review was sparce. What you did write was ok, but regardless, you didnt write enough to really give a good feel for the album. Your opening and closing paragraphs need to actually be paragraphs. Track descriptions were similarly sparce. Delete this one, edit it a bit, and then repost it.

man The Trews are constantly played on the radio around here. I've heard the two big singles countless times. I really not a fan of them however. Actually I really don't like them.
And the review could use some work. Saying the drums, singing and guitar is good in the opening paragraph really says nothing.

Very nice band, not so very nice review. Doesn't do this album justice.

This album let me down...I saw them live once as an opening act and they pretty much stole the show...and finally after deciding that Poor Ol' Broken Hearted Me is a really great song (sounds like the Black Crowes to me) I bought this album. So far it's not impressed me Making Sunshine is a great track and probably my favorite on the record, Cry is pretty good, and a few of the latter slower songs are pretty good but other than that this album really left me wanting alot more.
