2.5 average | BADNEW | June 3rd 20 | Back when I was in high school, I thought their lyrics were tacky. Now they are grown men singing what sounds like lyrics written by a high school girl, extra tacky.

2.5 average | FamousAtticus | October 26th 20 | Similar to Blink 182, I want NFG to go in the direction they seemed to be heading in before
deciding to take a turn back towards lyrics & content that is only repeatable to high school kids.
I was in HS when their self titled came out, that's why to this date it 's still enjoyable. It
takes me back to that time. I loved "Coming Home" because they seemed to take a turn towards
adulthood, while I was doing the same. This record just isn't relatable to me. I mean, its not up
to me if 40 year old dudes wanna connect with a younger generation but I'm getting off at this
stop. Maybe I'll jump back on again in the future.
My favorite tracks off the record (in no order): Stay Awhile

3.3 great | Trey STAFF | June 19th 20 | This is a solid NFG release. Upbeat, catchy, pop punk. I loved these guys back in the day,
and it still sounds the same as 'back in the day', but I can only manage a 3.3 feeling from
these guys, despite the nostalia.

4.0 excellent | STDandALK3 | December 5th 20 | I feel this is a shout out to the older records with the sound. Chad was for sure listening to some hardcore punk while making this album. Some say the lyrics or corny, I say their lyrics are fun and are just straight forward. They don't care if their cringy and its intentional. Songs like Stay Awhile, Jason Vorhees and GOAT show they still got the knack for great hooks. Shook by Your Shaved Head and Nothing To Say still show they got the hardcore influence. Slipping Away shows they still can write the ballads that hit the heart. This record was a pleasant surprise and is the best thing they put out since Sticks & Stones.

3.0 good | XgenericusernameX | June 22nd 20 | it's a lot of fun at first, but 15 tracks long makes it lose a lot of steam after 30 mins. there are some bouncy riffs and more of the hardcore influence in the record, but the album feels bloated and kinda corny at times. not a bad record, but it's just kinda there. maybe i'll enjoy it more after more listens.
