Some executional blunders aside (and they do take away from the immersion), this is a
fantastic evolution of SN8's sound, getting away from the immature lyrics of the past with
something more sonically and lyrically complex. Some of the complexities could have been
handled better. Example: Catatonic Dreams is a very interesting (and in my opinion very
relevant) song that's hampered by a chorus that's somewhat repetitive and out of tune. I
still really enjoy the song, but it's cleaning up some of the executional issues that bring
this from being an awesome prog album.
