Not the strongest vocals but I enjoyed this album for that fact that it doesn't quite sound like anything else I've listened to before. Almost indie-black metal with some instrumental tracks that come off like gloomy movie score pieces. Could've used some more guitarwork and a bit less space but overall it's an enjoyable listen.

Oresteia is a beautifully crafted blend of melodic ambient doom rock and black metal. It lives free of conventions
and exudes a sound unto itself. The album is chalk full of powerful atmospheric spaceyness, which lends itself to
a psychedelia feel, but is grounded in its' storytelling fascinations of 5th century violence, heroism and betrayal.
The vocals are mesmerizingly spiritual and the surrounding soundscape is a complimentary orchestration of
synth and guitars. This is a quality post-rock genre-blending metal album.

Patient instrumentation and charming textures form an amphitheater for amazing, powerful vocals. Program Music I, Spiritual Instinct, The Assassination of Julius Caesar, and Agætis byrjun swirl together like paints, forming a hitherto unforeseen colour.
