Review Summary: When the Sun Rises From the West !!!

Narjahanam is a Melodic/Oriental Death Metal band originating from Bahrain. The band consist of only two people playing all the instruments and handling the programming of drums and production of their music. Narjahanam literally translates to "The fires of hell" in Arabic and their lyrics which are written in Arabic, are often inspired by religious terminologies pertaining middle eastern context.

Undama Tath'hur Al Shams Mn Al Gharb Or "When the Sun rises from the west" Is one of those albums where it will quickly serenade you with its oriental influence and make you striving for more. The production even though raw, is perfect for this type of music, as it flows seamlessly throughout its running time. There's literally no bad song on this album. From the Eerie opening of "Taht Alamat Al Nujoom" (Under the signs of the stars") to the brutal growl in the beginning of the last song "Al Aukhira" (The End/Day of Judgement) every song starts off original, different and will grasp you instantly to where you can headbang and shake your head in congruence to the music all at the same time. Its Dark fluency and amazing musicianship from the two gentleman make this album a masterpiece within the realm of oriental metal coming from the middle east.
