Gruntruck was formed by the ex-Skin Yard members, frontman Ben McMillan and drummer Norman Scott. The band's sound is similar to the archetypical Seatle grunge bands at the time, emphasising on the metal side of the genre (Soundgarden, Alice In Chains) and not the punk one (Green River, Skin Yard). Inside Yours shows a profuse chemistry between the band members: high energy, driving grooves, crushing riffs and a compact rhythm section, supporting McMillan?s rugged, melodic voice.
