A worthy successor of Winterstead, Autumn Macabre might be lacking a track like "Winter Riders" but it's overall atmosphere is convincingly spooky and even has an '80s horror vibe at parts (check "Mouth Of The Murky Abyss"). The album flows seamlessly with engaging compositions that don't lack imagination and have a characteristic Guild Of Lore sound.
