Review Summary: An EP that lacks any energy after it's first track.

Send Her to Heaven is the latest release from the pop rock group, The All-American Rejects, where they carry on their style of catchy and hook centered rock music. The EP begins with the title track, Send Her to Heaven which is your typical pop song of the 2010's, but despite this, it holds an extremely anthemic chorus with an absolute earworm of a hook. The lyrics, while nothing spectacular, are fairly good at portraying the story. Tyson Ritter’s vocals are a standout on this track with his solid vocal melodies that get stuck in your head. However, I cannot say the same for the following track. Gen Why (DGAF) is an absolute trainwreck due to its awful lyrics and irritating melodies. Its chorus is where it truly grinds my gears, however, as it’s try hard edgy lyrics mixed alongside the sugary sweet pop melodies become increasingly vexing each time you hear it. The next and final track, Demons is not as bad as the previous song, but it still fails due to it being utterly generic and lacking in energy. It is a boring song, and it feels like there was no passion of any sort going into it. It’s emotionally charged lyrics did not seem entirely genuine to me, and as a consequence, it left very little impact on me. I will say Ritter’s vocals were decent here, but they were not good enough to save the song.

The Send Her to Heaven EP is like an unfinished rollercoaster. It starts off with an incline, but once it gets to the top, there is no more track. So it just goes straight down to the ground in one swift drop.

Send Her to heaven is a pretty decent song but yeah, this is not good at all.

Constructive Criticism would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, it is probably best that you don't know lol. Seriously though, the first song shows promise that they can make good music but the second track is generally embarrassing.

Not the most original but for some reason I quite enjoy it. It is the high point of EP by far though.

I like this a little more than you but this is a good review. can't imagine these guys will ever make music I like as much as their first few albums again sadly. I think they had some good moments on kids on the street though
