This live EP captures the energy of 311's live shows and allows you to play it in the comfort of your own home, car, or whatever. I think that they couldn't have chosen better songs to include on this album. This album is a bonus album that you can pre- order at the 311 shows this year along with their new album Don't Tread On Me, so it will only be available for a limited time. I've had the privilege of hearing all four of these songs live in SLC on 6-25-04 and 8-6-05. I think that they are a better live band by far than they are on the album.
1. Freeze Time- When 311 plays Freeze Time Live, they add in a little chant. Whenever P-Nut's hands go up in the air, the whole crowd yells "hey." The song is full of energy. It's pure 311 rock like most of the songs from Soundsystem. This is a good way to open up the album. 5/5
2. All Mixed Up- I should call this song All Re-Mixed Up. Whenever they play this live they add in an extra verse that's amazing. This song is one of my favorite songs live. It's a classic rock/hip hop 311 song that most people know about. This song is awesome. 5/5
3. Summer Of Love- They rarely play this song live. Maybe once or twice each tour. I was really surprised and excited when they played this at the show I went to this year. It's a rock song during the chorus, a laid back island type song during the verses, and a reggae song during the bridge. They wrote this song back in the Omaha days, somewhere between 1988 and 1991. Even though it's that old, it's still amazing. 5/5
4. Visit- This has always been in my top ten favorite 311 songs. When they play it live it's even better. This song is a hard rock/hip hop song, but at the very end, they switch it up and Tim does a guitar solo that has a reggae feel to it. I love this song. 5/5
