4.5 superb | cjbizzlebizzle | January 1st 20 | Patience is an album that seamlessly integrates rock, punk and hardcore just about as well as it has ever been done. Track to track, moment to moment the band switches between styles or just blends them into one accomplishing more in 25 minutes than some bands can in several LPs. The entire band is pivotal to the success of this record but extra nods must be given to Marisa Dabice for both her work on the guitar and especially her vocals. Whether its singing, shouting or screaming she hits all the right notes at the right time drawing you in with ferocity and charisma. Every song finds its own way to be great here but in the end nothing represents what Mannequin Pussy were able to accomplish more than 'Drunk II'. 'Romantic' was a very good record but it is clear that this band has taken a step forward in all musical departments and hopefully this is a stepping off point for their success and future releases. Farewell 2019.

3.5 great | Gene Gol-Jonsson CONTRIBUTOR | April 15th 24 | 'Patience' sees Mannequin Pussy most in grip of their eventually settled-on sound and style, but lacks the song-writing confidence to accurately flesh its ideas out. The looseness of the tunes is still leaning on the hollow and indistinct sometimes. That said, boy do they hit it home a lot of the time too.

4.0 excellent | Derek | August 15th 21 | This is a great record, but sadly I feel like this band is going to be perpetually held back due to the fact that they have
one of the most idiotic band names since Anal Cunt.

4.0 excellent | Potatodinner | January 21st 21 | It's a shame this album hasn't gotten a full-fledged review. Drunk II and In Love Again are superb and the album's effortless mix of punchy pup-punk, raucous noise rock, and quieter moments is simply fun to listen to.

3.5 great | Doublez38 | December 11th 19 | If like me you like stupid but fun band names and you've had a boring day at work, assuming you're wise not to relieve yourself with alcohol or drugs, listen to Patience (although eventually this record and the drugs will mix well). More seriously, it's a great punk album, where you sail between College punk and a few things more hardcore and darker, more Noise Rock, with a few little Lo-fi touches. Patience is short and looks sweet by appearance, but in reality it is rich and particularly deep.
