I listened to it years ago but most songs sound boring and repetitive. I gave it a chance but it
just isn't for me.

Just looked at the lyrics of every song. No thanks. Too many songs that even have more than 3
choruses (!). They can do much better than that. Not only on their 3 70's albums, but also on
their newer stuff as well like Change Becomes Us where most songs are structured very nicely.
Other modern Wire albums like Silver / Lead and Nocturnal Koreans, those two are very solid, are
also much better.
Will not dig this one out again.

Not as good as the first 3 but really good nonetheless. Dreamy pop songs, Kidney Bingos is catchy as hell. Deserves at least a 4 rating. Genius band

When I first got this record I played it every day for about six months. It drove everyone around me crazy I think. Is is such a catchy album with lovely late 80's slick production. I lent my LP to a friend and he never returned it. about 10 years later he borrowed my CD of the album and he hasn't returned that copy either!
