Anyone else think the production is real weird and quiet on this
"how the fuck do you think the production is quiet? do you strictly listen to
deathcore?"
the mixing? whatever. all i know is when i listen to ee on shuffle i have to adjust
the volume every time a song from this album comes on and then the next song not
from this album deafens me. i thought it might have been from a terrible leak but
after i bought it on bandcamp it's just the album naturally. i listen to various
things lol.

Dan Watson is a god, as always. There is just so much going on and the drums feel so compressed that it is hard to wade through the muk and hear the good parts when they are happening. A few really good songs that show deathcore doesnt have to be derivative, but also a bunch of songs that are just that. Failsafe Fallacy and There Is No Tomorrow stood out to me the most.

Even while being a deathcore junkie, I struggle with this one. I find very little about it that differentiates them from other bands out around the same time. Sounds like Aversions Crown, among many other bands. Wild how much they improved from The Chosen onward.
