Almost completely written, composed and produced by Michael Cretu himself (with Sisters and Brothers being a cover/remake of his own Zeitlose Reise), The Long Play, sung by his wife Sandra, is a rich and brilliant synthpop record, and a pinnacle of melodic 80's synth wave, which also vaguely hints here and there at the new age sounds that will characterize Cretu's future career. There's really not a single weak track on this record.
