some pure power metal, mostly melodeath with a tinge of black, numenor make another unique if not stellar album with highlights in heart of steel and moria

Interesting blend of melodic black and power metal with a strong epic flavor. The guitarwork is excellent and when this one clicks, it slays. Unfortunately, the black metal parts are somewhat trite and the harsh vocals have no character. However, when these guys are using the black metal elements just as a supplement to the power metal stuff, the contrast works greatly.
