Review Summary: Her only solistic work, a little treasure which deserves to be remembered

I really love this record, rather unacknowledged to tell the truth, perhaps because songwriting is not the main profession of Cree Summer (she is a dubber and TV actress), and this her only solo album is mainly related to her friendship with Lenny Kravitz, who produced it and even played and sang in it: and his presence is felt a lot, actually I would say that through this work he indirectly expresses (musically speaking) his feminine side.

However, Cree Summer is an excellent interpreter and has a wonderful voice.

She shows great originality and personality in style, both as an author and as a singer. There are many notable songs; to mention at least "Miss Moon", "Deliciously Down", "Revelation Sunshine", “Soul Sister” and “Mean Sleep”: this last one with Lenny Kravitz on vocals.

Since English is not my language my review is a bit short, but I think that someone had to honour this little masterpiece: in my opinion it deserves a place between other great albums.

This review is way too short, language barrier or not.

With that said: I've heard Cree's cover of Zappa's song Dirty Love and it's pretty good
